We're taking applications for movers, drivers, installers and warehouse help out of our Mandeville warehouse. No moving experience required for every role — showing up, working hard and being careful in somebody's home will get you further here than a resume will.
What we're filling

Movers & helpers
The heart of every job. Padding and wrapping, loading a truck so nothing shifts, carrying a sofa up a staircase without touching the wall, and putting the house back together at the other end.
Drivers
Box truck and trailer work — local runs on the Northshore and in Greater New Orleans, plus longer hauls out of state. Clean driving record matters more than years behind the wheel.
Installers
Appliances hooked up, draperies hung, artwork and mirrors on the wall and level. If you have finish-carpentry or handyman hands, this is where they get used.
Warehouse & receiving
Our warehouse on Highway 22 takes in designer freight, inspects it, tags it and stages it for delivery. Careful beats fast in this one.

Straight talk
What the work is really like.
- Most days start early and end when the job is finished, not at a set hour
- Work is physical, outdoors in the heat, and up and down stairs
- Schedules move with the calendar — spring and summer are the busy months
- Some jobs are overnight or out of state, and those are paid differently

The Move Co. has been moving Louisiana's homes and furniture for more than 9 years, out of our own warehouse at 4966 LA Hwy 22 in Mandeville. We do household moves, white glove delivery for designers and furniture stores, installation and haul-off.
